All four of them. The Arado has a gulled lower centre section as well.
Same idea on all of them (and the Corsair as well). Strong landing gear= short gear Powerful engine = large prop short gear +large prop = inverted gull wing Evidently the Arado was actually faster, but it was a biplane so Altes Art

Competitors for the bomber "B" program, all failed because the projected Jumo 222 never reached production status.

Great! Can't say many of the WWII vintage bombers were pretty though from purely asthetic point of view, personally I like the flying boats the most of that era (of the larger aircraft).

Great stuff Docrox! I am currently reading a book about the German attemp to develop long range bombers to hit America. All of these planes were mentioned in the book. How nice to see the planes I just read about. Thanks! :D

You are very correct Hans. Those look so nice. It's good to see something other than a somewhat grainy B&W picture. Thanks!

Yes! Your grand collection of aircraft is a super reference source and I appreciate your willingness to share the photos.

As we are looking forward to a family reunion next week, I was "asked" to clean up my hobby room. So paper modelling will rest fot a week.
So I took the opportunity to photograph some more of my planes. I chosed some rare ones. BV 139 V3/MS, Ju 88 BO, Fi 256 V1, Ju 88 HO |
