When I don't make papermodels....

Hi there everybody!

It's been a while since I put my hands to the scissors and paper/card material. So my Mayflower and the Panhard threads had to suffer a bit and are waiting for continuation this winter (hopefully).

The reason for this delay is (apart from my work) the fact that I had to concentrate on some of my other hobbies recently, namely painting.

My wife and me moved recently to a bigger appartement with a nice white wall in the living room (and a not so nice pillar). Since she dislikes white walls I said: "Let's paint it!"
The winters here in Finland are somewhat dark and grey, so I decided to add some "spice" in form of color to the living room. And here are the results so far.

Unfortunately it took longer than expected, and another painting project is going on in the sleeping room...

Rgds,
Radek

This is great. You got a loft like appearance in your apartment with the brickwork and you never have to take a vacation in the south - just turn your head to the scenery every once and a while. Great paintwork Radek.

That really looks good. Suffer from the opposite weather here in AZ so have thought about a nice mountain scence on my walls.

"...the wife won't let me"
I'm sorry, I didn't mean to laugh.

That does look VERY good! Back when I got my first apartment (1977) I had a poster set (about 12) of a rain forest, it covered the whole wall floor to ceiling....wish I still had it!....Rich

AirDave, thanks for the offer; but if I ever decide to do it I'll put that art degree I have to use...probably as a paper palette for the paint.
