Steamengine series 52 - Trumpeter 1/35

Okay, perhaps you want to know what I had done from the first of august till the 6th of december this year... Due to a good friend I was able to get this beautiful plastic-kit from company Trumpeter. 71o pieces wanted to be fixed an painted on the right way. Although some trouble had happened, finally I received a HUGE steamengine, painted as a warmachine in the 1940s. It measures 64cm in length and every time I see it now, I am happy that I had not stopped the complete it.
Have fun with the pictures, one day after the finish I went outside the house to make some pictures...

If you wish to read my building report (in german...) I will give you the link to my new forum.

Nice looking steam engine. 64cm is a little over 25 inches. That is huge.

Thanks for your nice words, I am VERY happy abou that!
The link to my forum: Der lustige Modellbauer - Portal
(I am the administrator there, perhaps you will find some known names there...)
The link to the building-report
Trumpeter BR52 - 1/35 FERTIG!!
(as MY forum started later - the report started later... on some pictures the camera noted the real date).
Have fun! In any kinds of questions do not hesitate to contact me. I have seen, that this machines was SOLD rather often, but build--- not really. Perhaps ONE reason ist the HUGE box of the kit... When you open it, it will be your first heartache... the box is FULL.
64cm... and NOW you have to count it the rail.. so will get the result of 84cm...
