A Wooden Avro Arrow
Last month I was poking around the internet and found these guys:
RC Model Boat Kits and Accessories – HO, N, and O Scale Railroad They make, amongst other things, chunky wooden aircraft models that would best be described as "2.5D". I ordered the Cf-105 Avro Arrow and when it arrived painted it white. The paint was just cheap acrylic and it streaked so it doesnt look all that great up close. But I still like it. They have a nice line of planes and they seem pretty nice to me, and fairly well priced. Check it out. |

That is great, I really like that CF-105. The paint job looks good in the photos. How were the shipping Costs?

Shipping was very reasonable! $1.50 per model. 'Course, that was within Canada. For you and I thats great. Dunno how much more it would be outside of Canada as payment was all handled via paypal, which automatically calculated shipping based on my accounts mail address.

Great, thanks.
I'll throw a suggestion to my son (via my wife) for Father's Day. Gary

What an interesting concept. Start with a detailed side profile and add small dimension by sandwiching layers of side fuselage profile. Very nice find. Thanks for sharing. |
