Priceless!!!

I had to share this...I belong to a Boardgame site THIS was a conversation with my 5 yr old gkid...

Hi there, I must say since joining the group the ideas have been spinning. I am making a game modeled after my favorite T.V. show that sadly got cancelled. I was hanging out with my grandkids 5 and 6 yr old girls . When they are here they have an "anything goes" rule. So the 5 yr old comes over to me with an old but in tact roll of wrapping paper. Now keep in mind the girls were just playing something and Mandy (the 5 yr old) says to me " Gramma ya know that game your working on? I think this would make an awesome game board!" I looked at her and wondered to myself "OMG she's right!" So I let HER tell me what she had in mind. The following explanation is coming from a 5 yr old.." well see the back of the paper? i said Yes... Well it has little squares like my checkerboard. What if you used this as the board and your little glass bottles as the game pieces ? You can put the pictures of all the people in the show and have some cards with stuff on them ...well that was as far as she got. But here I am with my mouth hanging open thinking i just got a partner. The 6 yr old just wanted to know if there would be Barbies! Mandy looked her right in the eye and said "only if we can make her an Abnormal... So in the span of 10 mins, I got a board, playing pieces and a 5 yr old that wants to play. The name of the show is Sanctuary and her and I watched it when it was on T.V. now i have the DVD's and she says well we could do that over here and i think 10 gold coins would be a good reward. Oh and Magnus has to have her "Gun Bum" so your gonna have to hide some guns so she has them.
So
1. the back of left over wrapping paper for a board.
2. my little glass bottles as playing pieces.
3. cards to say what you have to do to accomplish a certain thing
4. And my 5 yr olds help...PRICELESS!!!
