Staples had an on-line sale for the Pilot Metropolitan Animal Collection Fountain Pen Medium Nib White Tiger design.
At $12.50 including tax and free ship-to-store it seemed to good to pass up. It comes with a convertor to fill from an ink bottle through the nib so I won't need to buy cartridges for it.
I brought it home tonight and I'm very pleased to report that once started up the ink flows smoothly and it compares very well to the Varsity disposables. So I think I've found my new favorite pen.
