Paper Model Photo Shoots
Hello all. Some of you have followed a previous thread of mine where I made a lot of beauty shots of my Star Trek paper models. It's a lot of fun (almost like playing with the models) and I want to keep sharing new pics, but since the build is over I figured I should start a new thread in a more appropriate part of the forum.
I store all the Hi-Rez versions on my Flickr page, so check 'em out if you like. It's all for fun, so let me know what you think. Here's the latest entry. Yesteryear's Enterprise | Flickr - Photo Sharing! |

This idea just came to me when I saw the plane picture. The poor shuttlecraft got too few chances to shine. And, since we never got to see this version of the TMP Galileo fly, I thought it would be nice to give her a moment in the sun. This is my first TMP-style papercraft photoshop pic.

I like the pic, but I don't know the story?

There's no "real" story that goes with that pic. Only some of the pics I do are based off things that happened in the series. Some are just neat (at least I think they are neat) ideas I come up with.

Battlestar Galactica
Feeling Photoshoppy again. For a change of pace, here's a Battlestar Galactica pic starring my Galactica from Gearz and Viper from PaperToyBox. Hi-Rez version at link below.

Zeppelins vs. Dinosaurs
I saw a movie poster for this fake movie somewhere on the Internet and it seemed like a "so bad it's good" idea. So, here is my take on what a scene from this movie might look like. Hi-Rez photo at link below.

Broken Mirror Part 1
Hello all. I've got a new picture to share, but this one is a little different. I've decided to use my models to tell a "Photo Story", kind of like the old picture books we used to buy at the school Book Fair. Since I've built all these Federation and Terran Empire starships it seemed natural to face them off. So, I'm telling a sequel to "Mirror, Mirror" where this time the Terran Empire breaks through into Starfleet's universe. This is my first experiment with something like this, so if it's no good, I hope it's at least amusing.
Part 1 hi-rez is posted on my Flickr page. https://www.flickr.com/photos/bgt01/...57645407108180 |
