Hermit & McHale,
Thanks for the compliment. Hermit, hope you enjoy making your model as much as I did this one. Maybe you could post pictures of it here.

Finished the model. Here are some more pics.

Turned out very good. All of that line of models are nice.
How are your eyes? Mine were a bit tired after contructing a few of those models. A good set of small needle nosed pliers, very good lighting, and a magnifying visor really helped.

Yup, I had to hold mine at arm's length to see anything, and then found the parts too small. Bring it closer and everything gets blurry. I think I'll invest in a free-standing magnifying glass.

I also found a pair of non-toothed, fine-tipped tweezers indispensable for handling minute parts. Round objects such as files were useful in ensuring an even curve when bending the parts.

Best investment I've made yet is an Opti-visor. You can buy different levels of magnifiers as your vision changes or as your need for detail increases

Elliott,
Thanks for the tip. I think I'll ask for one for Christmas or my birthday! Does it work well for far-sightedness?

After cataract surgery I am slightly far-sighted. No problems noticed yet. Ymmv.
