I had what I thought was a pretty nice car collection.....MPC, AMT, SMP, Johan and Revell along with a lot of other lesser known brands. Also had several hundred dealer models. When I sold the collection in the late 80s, early 90s, most of the cars you are looking for were bringing close to the $100 mark if not more. Hope you can find these at better than todays prices.....it's a tough market.

Mike, you're looking for some hi dollar ones, especially the Gran Torino and the Maverick. If you don't need a completely stock Maverick you can find the drag racing versions around fairly common and a lot cheaper. Rumor that Spotlight Hobbies might have a repop of the 70 Road Runner coming.

Never heard of Testors issuing a 70 Mercury Comet. JoHan had an extremely rare stock with funny car version. Later issued as a Pro Stock drag car similar to the Maverick.

Hey Mike, thanks for reminding me of that one. That is the JoHan Pro Stock version that was released along with some other JoHan kits by Testors a few years ago. Had forgotten that they had done the Comet.
