I used to play X-plane all the time. Even designed a few planes in it. MY favorite was a Ground to lunar orbit plane I designed that actually made it to the moon (took 5 days in real life. They really need to put some rest stops between here and there)

It had 3 different types of engines, Air breathing jets, ramjets, and straight rockets.

IT was a bit top heavy (It kept flipping over on takeoff, so I added landing gear on top too)

No aerobatics either. Take off, point it straight up, and keep going until you were at the moon.
