I have just been curious as to what you and Willy have been up to in terms of what you both have looked at. And what your feelings were!

With the start of a new quarter, I haven't had much time to go exploring. 4 of my 6 classes I teach start all over every 9 weeks.

I am hopefully this week going to modify one of my foldscopes to hook to my phone so I can take pictures. Once I get that going, I'll post some here as well.

Good call on the new thread! I have to tweak my camera set up a bit. The scope doesn't work as well with my new phone, so I'll use my old phone for the camera set up. THe case I put on my phone doesn't allow it to focus as well.

I tried a few pics, but they weren't focusing for some reason. My efforts fell off a bit after I got handed the teaching opportunity of a lifetime. I'm going to be teaching at the zoo every other day beginning in a few weeks. While I'll be teaching a zoo architecture class, I will try to incorporate it. And, I'll have the my cohort try it in her zoology class. I think she''l have more luck. She is a biologist for the zoo.

Oh, and it's not just any zoo that I'll be at. It's the world's BEST zoo!
