Miniature buildings I make that are not paper

I have always loved architecture and miniatures. I have also always loved working in a lot of different materials including wood, metal, paper, stone and more. I have a working background that includes using a very wide variety of tools plus art and architecture as well as computers and software programs.

I design and make various kinds of buildings in miniature in several styles that have different functions. Lots of birdhouses, mostly large pieces in 1:12 scale. A few light fixtures, sometimes quite large that can be used outside. Also some 1:12 scale dollhouses, not for children though, these are commissioned pieces for adult collectors. Here is a side view of one of the 1:12 scale buildings that was commissioned to be a Santa's Workshop for the owner's collection of miniature toys. Here is an album with some build photos.

Well-done Karin! Enjoyed the album of Santa's Workshop very much. Thank you for sharing.
