1971 Mach 1 Mustang

Not sure if this is the right place for this or not, but this is what I've been working on for the past 5+ years. Started out as a complete rust pile, and it's now an actual car again (as of Oct 2014), that just needs the final nit-noids finished up to register and drive it legally.

The engine was seized, interior was shot (floors Fred Flinstoned), and I had to cut the front clip off and weld on a 'new' one from a '72 along with all sorts of other sheet metal repair, reupoholstered the interior, and restored/replaced pretty much everything.

After this, I decided to get back into modeling because its a LOT less work and expense to make small scale cars.

Here are all [300+] pictures documenting the rebuild: https://www.facebook.com/eric.hansen...7814872&type=3

Absolutely magnificent restoration. I've just acquired a 1955 Chevy Cameo Pickup. Hope it comes out half as good as your stang.

Excellent work! I have a '69 Charger I built and am helping my brother restore his '65 Bel Air so I feel your pain. You have a beautiful pony car!

Congratulations on a beautiful looking restoration. You've certainly brought this Pony back to life.

Thanks for the kinds words, Guys! I'll be sure to post up any new stuff, as well as be happy to provide pics for reference if anybody has a similar build, or is thinking of making a paper kit.
