Other stuff I do

I've been hand crafting leather goods for the last 30 some odd years. Just recently started posting some of my stuff on my Facebook page. The items below are being sent to my aunt. Pictured are checkbook covers, trifold wallets (Backside and inside) and two different clutch purses (front and back)

i like them all, i used to do that too, made a couple of purses for mom, and my wallet, which I carried for almost 25 years, i replaced it with one from Chums

I love doing leather work, the knife work translates well to paper modeling, better free hand control

Yes the knife work definitely helps hand control, now if only I could get creasing and folding down right I'd be doing good

Very nice. My experience in leather was more on the beginning end. Part of my growing up involved running traps and tanning hides when I would go to my grandparents'. I think that actually working leather would have been more enjoyable

Yes it is really enjoyable to work with leather. All of mine is vegetable tanned. Now I'm out of leather projects and no orders so back to paper :D
