It took a good bit of putty and lots of wet sanding to fair the tail into the fuselage.I hope the horizontal stabs will not be so much trouble(Yeah Right!Dream on Buddy!).

Interesting build to follow. I have several vacuform kits that I have yet to tackle. I've never seen a black plastic one before. I have the Koster Aero JU-88, Rareplanes 1/72 DC-4, 1/72 L1049 Constellation, Contrails 1/48 Hampden, and may 10 to 12 others in 1/48 and 1/72 scale.

Putting on the horizontal stabs went pretty well.Put a brass tube through the fuselage and drilled the faces of the stabs.expected gaps at the wing roots will require filler but all major joints will need it so no huge deal!

Cut out and joined up the wing halves.I have noticed that on each major assembly ,there is a consistent 1/16 inch mismatch that leads me to believe that one of each of the parts are slightly larger than the other. This is a new one on me as I never had this problem on other vac form kits.I will fix the problems of course but it is odd.

You're progressing rather quickly on this. I take forever to even get started on any thing.
