You're off to a very good start Ed. Thanks for the large sharp pics too.

Good evening my friends,
Due to recent job change, I have found very little time to work on the model. Soon enough, I'll be back on tracks with more frequent updates. The attached pictures show the recent state of the model. Best regards Ed |

First of all this looks great! Are these turtle ships specific to Korea or where they used in Japan too?

First of all, thank you for your kind comments!
Papierschnitzel, as far as I know, these ships were a Korean thing only. They were used to repel the Japanese invaders. Altough I might be wrong. Best regards Ed |

there was an excellent international movie on Netflix. I think it was titled "the admiral , dangerous currents# or something. the turtle ship was part of the movie.

Good afternoon, my friends! It has been quite a while since I began this model. The fact is, I was too busy and sort of lost interest, but my recently retired father (to whom this model was a gift anyway) took charge of the construction.
Here are some pictures of the progress so far, including the cannons, hull closure and bow figure. He also did some painting. Which, in my opinion makes the model incredibly vivid. The final pictures look like a dragon in a barbershop, doing a haircut. Also, I think he messed up with the rows... Anyways, I hope you enjoy that! Happy 2019 to all! Best regards Ed |
