Wood Models

Hi all,

This is my first foray into Paper Modelling. I'm currently building a model of HMVS Cerberus (free download version). I'll post a Build Log in the appropriate Forum.

My other hobby is making Wooden Models. I've built 12 ships, most of them three-masted like HMS Victory, Charles W. Morgan, HMS Supply etc from kits, but the crowning glory so far is a Scratchbuilt HMS Vulture with a fully framed hull and full interior details. I've also built a Cross-section model of the same ship. These can be seen on Model Ship World, here is a LINK to Vulture's Build Log. My other build logs can be found in my Signature on the site.

Other models I've made include a kit of a Wells Fargo Stagecoach and several models in bottles. These can also be found by visiting my Model Ship World build log.

Hello,and welcome. Like many of us you don't have build in just one type of modeling medium.
Forgive me if I use a P word, plastic, seems to be another popular medium. I to have built a few wooden ship models. The Charles Morgan happens to be one of them. Many years ago. Long gone.
