The model should measure some 14.5 inches from tip of nose to end of tail fin.
As regards your question, I beta build quite a lot for a specific designer and thus prefer
using his designs to build soda can planes. I'm planning to spread out when I gain more
experience and explore more into other designers, like Bruno and Dave, also my favourites.

It looked much larger than many of its predecessors, so I was excited to see something just a tad bit larger. As for the designers, it was a question out of mere curiosity. When I first started building some twenty years ago, I began with one designer. But as someone pointed out to me then, there was a myriad of others as well as more diverse subject matter beyond just aircraft to branch into. After thousands of models built and a few IPMS awards along the way, I'm glad I took their advise...

Didn't come without a LOT and I mean a lot of experimentation, a few broken eggs and opening myself up to the possibilities. Up until about 10 years ago, my primary subject was aircraft as well. It wasn't until an up and coming film producer asked me to build him some armored vehicles that I relented. At any rate, I was merely curious about your choice of designers since most, if not all artists have a unique method to their own madness...

A little update on the Ribena DHC-8 before I'm taking a vacation break in two weeks' time.

A couple more of the big "X". It looks like an X to me, LOL.
Pending engines and undercarriage.
Hope it can fly away before my holidays begin.

One more day to go, I'll be going away on vacation and the latest state of play of the Ribena Dash-8 is that the six-bladed props are not yet ready. Whether she can fly will depend on how the props are going. She may have to be grounded until early May!

The fuselage tail part consists of two other colour soda can, the Coke and the Suntory CC Lemon, that give her a tri-colour tail partially. Well that doesn't look too bad, does it?

Looks great. I'm sure I would be slicing my hands up if I ever tried to do one of these
