That is an amazing talent you have working with the metal cans.

That Navion looks sweet! It's one of my all time favorite GA airplanes, having been made by North American Aviation, the makers of the P-51 & F-86.

I'm guessing the mixing of can producers is due to a shortage of one particular can in your region to complete a project, or do you just mix it on the fly to see what pattern you can create? Just curious as to the methodology behind that. Using multiple can producers does create some interesting patterns. I experimented with it several years ago when I built my 4 foot long B-52 Bomber and my 3.5 foot F-15 Eagle Aggressor...

Thanks Texman and Viperpilot for your compliments.
Gman, the mixing of cans on the P51 is on purpose as Dave’s Miss America P51 is a tricolour plane, using red, blue and white (silver). Just cut the colour part from the template and trace it out of the can one by one and finally put them together to glue. Must admit it’s quite tedious. The B757, the largest can model for me so far, is based on Aaron’s Fedex livery and it has a blue tail fin. So the mix came to my mind. I could have done it completely on the white coke plus which is a new coke drink here, but I wanna mix it on grounds said above and for fun. Wow, 4 and 3.5 feet long models? Can’t imagine how and where to store them. Papermate |

Just did a count on my Soda/Beer can to-do list, there are 49 of them on hand. It may take forever to finish them, omg!

My to do list has well over 300 on it. Of course, that list was started back in 2006... |

No. Murph's F-16, at 1/100
No.10 in this series is Murph's F-16, at 1/100, that I build for a driver friend in Serbia. He preferred it in landed mode. It was quite a challenge in view of the small parts put together. I'll be missing it after it is sent off but I'm keeping pictures of the finished model and, hey, I can do it again and improve. Please enjoy the views.

No.11 North American T-28 Trojan, 1/33
The next coming on show is the North American T-28 Trojan, model created by Aaron, changed from the original scale of 1/36 to 1/33. It's made out of soft drink cans by Hite Jinro of Korea. First impression is that the girl's head is cute. If you look closely, you'll find that the left wing tip is a little warp. The lesson learnt is that leave the closing of the wing tip at the end when the wings are in place and thoroughly checked correct. Okay, have to live with that!
