I like the use of the different colored can on the 737 windows. What scale are you building at?

Thank you all guys.
I built it at the scale of 1/144. Murph's Models is the source. Papermate |

There are four more projects that I have started at different stages. Some are quite long ago.
And I hope to finish them one day. No.4 is the reversed side of the can. I was hoping to inscribe all the details, like panel lines and graphics on the can surfaces. As a matter of fact, that's what I have done on many of the larger can planes. Papermate |

Horse Heads as gifts
If you prefer to make 'em larger:
Large size horse heads available by joining flattened aluminum cans. These make nifty gifts and are not that difficult to build. Lead for stain glass window crafting was used as weight in the bases. Make someone happy with one as a gift, Bob Penikas |

Those horse heads look amazing. Thanks, Bob, maybe I'll try that.

As the F4U Corsair flew faster than the Spad, thus it jumped the gun in a partially finished state.
There's still spinning props and landing gears as well as fairings for the stabs, one wing and the vertical fin to complete. Should have planned better to let all the ingredient etc labels to go to the under surfaces. This model combines the use of Coke and beer cans as seen in the different colours of the parts, black and red. Again it's one of Murph's babies. Papermate |

Thanks, elliott. Actually, the wings were ripped away from the fuselage and thus some damage there after noticing some misaligned wing problem. It was then remedied and the repair is not too noticeable.

A clear canopy instead of silver or inverted can would really make this pop in my humble opinion. The current effect kind of gives it the appearance of being translucent, but experimentation with these types of models often leads to breakthroughs that produce better than intended results. Might be worth a try...

Thank you for your comments/suggestions that I'll consider in future projects.
Building a clear canopy (and thus an interior) is no easy thing as Murph's models don't usually come with an interior. So, may have to look at others that won't be too much work to do. Papermate |
