Thanks, Bute, for stopping by. I’ll reveal more later.

Fascinating, Gman. You sure cover many aspects of can modelling!

Well papermate, you can never underestimate where a potential project will inadvertently lead you. Tanks and AFV's were something that I had hardly considered building prior to meeting a film producer who approached me about featuring some of my work in one of his short films several years ago. That collaboration more than anything taught me the value of pushing into new avenues of can creation and the rest as they say, is history. It was so instrumental in furthering the evolution of my craft that I can honestly say I owe that particular producer a debt of gratitude...

One of the first Tiger tanks I built for that film:

No, I’m still interested in paper but just side tracked to do cans. I’ll build in paper occasionally or as a break.

No.21 Murph's Models - Fairchild A10 Warthog

Hello friends, long time no see. A bit of counting, No.20 was the pig family and now something new for Easter 2019.

No.21 in this series, coming up, is Aaron's Fairchild A-10 Warthog, originally a white model at 1/38. On the occasion of Coca Cola in HK launching a limited edition of slim can series depicting some 8 HK historical architecture/buildings, I used many of the said cans to make this soda can plane. No particular reason for choosing the A-10 but just came across this white model when browsing through my files.

Hope you'll like it.

As an A-10 crew chief for many years, that is outstanding!

Coke Can Santas?

Howdy,

Santa is gone from last December’s Christmas holiday Coke design, instead there are green stripes. Such a disappointment. Luckily though, for the past few years I have collected, cut, flattened, and stored enough Coke Santas to keep me busy creating possible Christmas gifts for family and friends.

I hope Coke will allow Santa to return.
