My cousin and her husband had a similar camper, but without the air conditioner. We had a set of brackets rigged up on the side with the door. We had access to parts of a quilting frame. The spindle that you roll the quilt on was set up with a canvas tarp. With a couple tent poles, and some rope to tie things down, it made a very nice covered porch area, expanding the rainy day space.

Maybe you could rig up something similarly.

the AC unit is just a regular house unit (the smallest they make,) with real 2x4 header and footer put in place where I took out the window. for an awning I went with 1/2" conduit pipes and triangle sails:
