Revell 1/48 B-17G

She is big and a lot easier than a paper model!

That's still sitting in my stash waiting for a future when I can build it.

Great kit. Very precise. And lovely raised panels and rivets.

I suppose this is ex-Monogram which has been the best plastic 1/48 scale B-17G ever since it was introduced in 1975.

One of the first kits I built way back in the late 70's when I first came to the United States. Love it... back then.

Great build. The Revell is the old Monogram kit which is still better that the Revell "F" model. I keep wanting find a "G" interior and engines with cowls either at a yard sale or in a thrift shop so that I can build a better 'F".

I built one of these about 25 years ago, it hung in a corner of our dining room for about 10 years till we sold our house. I gave it to a neighbor boy and made his day.
