Al,

I expect to you on "The Repair Shop" restoring older radios soon. Perhaps when you retire from your present Job.

Jim

My friend likes to do urban spelunking (exploring abandoned buildings) and found an old abandoned tv repair shop full of vacuume tubes in Gary, Indiana.

Armorman

I had a similar experience whilst visiting the aviation museum at Ta'Qali, Malta a few years ago. I spoke to a Gent there who restores such radios. On asking him where he obtained his spares he said" When you Brits left the Island you left this". He opened an old metal cupboard, it was full of valves in their original brown paper and card boxes - outstanding......"We found it in the back of the old hangar from the war", he went on to say.

Respect
