Research topics.

G'day, as an ex tankie I am always researching tanks and 'stuff' about tanks. I was busy looking up Chieftain stuff and came across a report on an accident on a UK tank range that I heard about briefly on the television news. Reading this report has been a bit mixed feelings wise but makes me more respectful than ever, for those who fought world war in these baffling and intriguing vehicles. Warning, this is tough reading and not for those with a sensitive stomach.

It will not upload, too big. For those interested it is at.-

Turtle syndrome, putting a tank on its back but certainly different. M-88 recovery vehicle on the left?

I happen to know for a fact, of a Chieftain tank that flew. Not far and certainly not controlled but that ended on its roof too.

Yep, very interesting reading. Gives a good insight into the process of a government inquiry into such incidents.
