No British routes, yup.

but I enjoy the USA routes, so I am really happy!

Trainz is the closest I know to a model railway simulator. Also, have a look at Derail Valley on Steam - I got this but credited it as I did not like it. But one man's meat is another man's poison!

Still on the learning curve.

This is HARD (and I know how to drive a train) - very true to life in simulating the physics.

Dave - I turned shadows on. Made no difference to the frame rate as far as I could see.

Here are some more shots from the sim - the more I see and do, the more I like it!

Being very realistic in terms of operation and physics however, there is a really stiff learning curve to contend with - it is a true simulation, not a "game".
