Bart I like that Battle shirt!
I have a 1855 Harpers Ferry Short rifle with saber bayonet and a couple of revolvers. Used to have an 1841 Mountain Howitzer on a number one prairie carriage but I got stupid and sold it. So So stupid... ugh.

A few of my reenacting pictures for your amusement...
That colonial uniform could get a lot of usage up here! Or, next year you should come join us with your surgeon impression, or a line soldier. Almost every one of the regular Living History presenters in our group is older and heavier than any Civil War soldier could possibly have been.

Bart -

Great to see you at the IPMC. Apologies for not commenting earlier on this thread, which is certainly most interesting. I hope you will link up with the reenactors and living History presenters here at USAHEC.

Ah cool! I grew up Milledgeville, Ga. Seen lotsa history, living and otherwise. One of the most sobering visits I have made was to Andersville National Historic Site. It's been many years, but I remember it weighing heavily on my young mind.
