Great work.

In years past I took B&Ws of the moon with 4 min exposures c live models.

Its challenging work!

What are you using to take them? Telephoto lens or telescope? Camera? Settings?

They look fantastic!

Thank you for sharing.

More moon shots

A couple of moon pictures I took a few minutes ago, just before the cloud cover moved in.

Another moon photo

Haven't posted any moon pictures for a while so here goes. I finally bought a new lens, it is 500mm and manual everything. I am trying to figure everything out but it is going to take some time and a lot of practice. This is one of the first shots I took with the new lens. I think once I get it sorted out it will be a lot better that the 250mm.

Cool

Nice image of the Moon. I do a lot of starwatching with the telescope and have done video astronomy.

Great photos and an interesting hobby. Too much light pollution where I live for anything like that. There is a beautiful observatory, though, the one where Gauss was in charge (see photo).
