Wood Ship Kits

Hi Everyone,

Let's see how many of us have a common hobby. Building wood ship kits is my hobby.

I have done static ship modeling (scratch building) for quite 30 years and now, in the last 5-6 years, I'm fully working in paper modeling (mainly paper ship modeling.

So, still having on a shelf of my house a 1:100 scale model of Spanish battleship Pelajo (scratchbuilted too) that one future day I'll complete, in the meantime I've build many paper ship models, battleships in the age from 1860 until first years of 1900.

So it's possible to "mix" traditional modeling with paper modeling

have a nice time and stay safe !

Me as well.

I have built model ship kits for over 30 years but had to stop a few years back when I became allergic to some of the exotic woods.

Still have HMS Bounty (with one side exposed to show interior detail) to finish -m somehow - one day.
