Snakes are a very innocuous pet, very easy to take care of. My wife and I have a had a Ball Python for around twenty five years. He fit in the palm of my hand when we first got him, now he is a little over four feet long.

I only got one chance to stroking a snake: despite appearances, they are smooth, silky to the touch and difficult to tighten, due to the muscle structure all around the body. They roll up your arm to feel the heat of the body.
It was a very pleasure experience!
