Exactly, as Philip said, often less is more, especially when we come to the Japanese art. So, finally I haven't added the lantern to avoid overloading with details and I left few branches leafless to underline their shape. The rock was tied around with the shimenawa cord with three tassels and few shide paper strips to emphasize the presence of a kami deity inside, thus changing the natural object into the kind of a little shintō chapel. The red maple leaves (momiji 栴) are the most recognisable symbol of the autumn: aki-onna (Autumn Lady) had just passed by and the leaves begun to fall.
