My store just finished a Remodel complete with 'Grand Re-Opening'
It is Much BRIGHTER in there now
Wondering if they replaced most Flurescent lights with LED Lights.
Also added 200++ More Cameras to help prevent theft

My store closes at Midnight and re-opens at 6AM due to Losses during that time
when Opened 24 Hours!!!

They Will be open 24 hrs from Thanksgiving night til about 6PM Christmas Eve.

Wish they had some Models though
Paper as well as Plastic or Diecast!!

Some Do carry Models

I have Not seen that New Star Wars Fighter in My store yet
But with the Remodel, it would Not have been put up yet even
if they have one to display

And Yes, Likely there is a Return Order on that due to being Star Wars, AND Disney

I know Back when Phantom Menace came out and Toys R Us had a Naboo Fighter,
I asked about it
They said it would either be returned, or a Contest would be held to let
some one Win it.
This was YEARS before Disney was even Involved!!!

This particular store is fairly new. They use a combination of skylights and indoor lighting. It's fairly bright most of the times, but you can see the lights cycling on and off during the day. It sometimes gets a little dark on cloudy days, or if a storm suddenly blows up.

I lurk here a lot and don't post much, but THIS post made my blood boil. I have to say something.
Everyone here is rabidly against online piracy of others work, and you're advocating outright theft? Nice double standard there.

Yeah! What's wrong with you VK?!!! Conjuring the image of a fat, 50 year old man running through Wal Mart at a blistering 4 mph, a look of dogged determination on his face, tightly hugging a ten foot cardboard model of a U-Wing fighter.

Dear Widget - I WAS JOKING !!!!
I have worked in retail for over 30yrs, and for the last 11 yrs in 'high ticket' retail. I have chased after a shoplifter on my own, at my own risk from our store ( lost them when they crossed a major road in town), but Batman style I wasn't going to let the guy go !

Sometimes you have to do what Jack Burton would do.

"Jack Burton" had to look that one up. Little weak on pop culture especially tv and movies.

Gotham's signature quote is from "Big Trouble in Little China". That's what made me think of it. I love that movie.
''When some wild-eyed, eight-foot-tall maniac grabs your neck, taps the back of your favorite head up against the barroom wall, and he looks you crooked in the eye and he asks you if ya paid your dues, you just stare that big sucker right back in the eye, and you remember what ol' Jack Burton always says at a time like that: "Have ya paid your dues, Jack?" ... "Yessir, the check is in the mail."

Sorry. I happen to work at Walmart. You do have to admit that it sounded rather ill-advised. I also have been in retail for longer than I care to admit.
Yes on the skylights, yes on the "brownouts" during periods of city wide high electric use and yes,we have to return static displays.
