Apollo Command and Service Module

I just completed Ton's enhanced rendition of the Apollo CM and SM in 1:48 scale. I did some modifications ( Docking collar and umbillical connector)

I started a blog about my paper models:John's Paper Models etc

Thats a great kit is it not, you did a very good build it looks like!! I built that and the L.E.M. from U-Don factory both in 1/48. I put magnets in them so i could hang them in the docked or seperate state. I'v also built the complete Saturn V-Apollo from LHV in 1/48, fantastic kit!..........Rich

I am also planning on doing the 1/48 LM to go with it but I am first going to enlarge AXM Soyuz to 1/48 and do the Apollo/Soyuz docking

Nice one!

Surfduke has an ASTP at his site at: http://www.mos95b.com/Moon%20Port/ . Should find the docking adapter there if you need it.

Pot luck on instructions - some models very well documented and some parts only.

Thanks for the idea I looked at that one and the one from Lars at the Lower Hudson Valley site I think I will go with the one from Lars. I want to keep it simple for now and that looks like a good one to use.

Wonderful job on this model! Superb build!

I'm not seeing the Lars model of the ASTM you are referring to...do you have a link?

Cheers!

The docking module of Surfduke is the better one....
But his Soyuz is not really good.
I'm building it in the moment....
Here I have the Apollo 11 mission as diorama...
