Absolutely fabulous. Glad to hear your hand surgeries went well. I was down for a while with back surgery, almost a year now but still gives me trouble. By any chance do you have a pic of your laser cutter?

Sure, here's the Full Spectrum 5th Gen Hobby LASER that I use. Next is a shot of the lens head that also shows the gantry and the LASER tube (mounted on the back of the case). Just for grins I've included a photo of the first test piece that I cut.

The surgeon has removed all the restrictions he placed on my hands. Time to get serious about this thing again.

Starting to work on a new truck for the crawler. This one incorporates some design changes that I made while my hands were healing. Two of these will be attached to either side of a center section to complete the truck assembly.

Nice buildup of the crawler truck. Are tracks next?

Actually I'll be rebuilding this truck. When I created the drawings I somehow managed to move my registration marks so the alignment holes are off by .048". I'm glad I only built one so far. I'm getting the laser fired up as I type this.

How do you handle the scorch marks? Repaint? Leave them there as "rust"?

The various assemblies will be painted when they are completed.
