I you are interested in Deltas, please let me know.
I used to have lots of Deltas available, but since I have my own website I decided to upgrade all of my models. Especially
the Deltas needed upgrading, but since I have a lot of them, it proved to be a tremendous challenge. Finding the
correct colors for the newer Deltas keeps me busy. I can produce the color of the first blue Deltas (FS 25189), but the greenish
blue colors (FS 25190 and FS 25193) just keep troubling me. I can get it pretty accurate, once printed, but when I use that
color on my models it just doesn't look right. But I am close. Still..... I have about 29 (!!!) Deltas to recolor. Which means I have to
redraw many details as well. That is one of the disadvantages of bitmap drawings. Which is also the reason why I am learning to
work with Inkscape.

Here is a list of Deltas I am working on :
ACE, AMPTE, Argos, Anik, Dawn, Deep Impact, EUVE, FUSE, Galaxy, Geo Eye, Grail, Gravity Probe, Iras, Kepler, Navstar ("Let's Roll!"),
LOSAT, Mars Pathfinder, MER A, MER B, Messenger, NATO, NOAA, NAVSTAR, NPP, ROSAT, Spitzer (SIRTF), Swift, ULA, WISE and XTE.
And a few more are on the drawing board.
Most of them are in scale 1:72 so you'll be busy for a LONG time...! |-)

If anyone is interested, please let me know. I already had a request for NPP, so that one will be done, soon.
If you want one in 1:96, just ask.

I've really been missing your website Erik. There was a lot of cool stuff on there.

Also, I just printed off the Delta IV. Looks like a fun build.

Wow! I still have several of the old versions. So if you're redoing them, I suggest Mars Pathfinder and MER-A and B be at the top.

Mucho thanx!

Ooooh, shame on you

The IRAS name is all-caps for being an acronym.

Good luck on your re-coloring efforts. Perhaps it is an idea to adjust the FS numbers for the scale effect. Add a little white. That's common practice amongst the plastic (yes I know that is a dirty word here) scale modelers.

So am I, and I dare say even more than Erik.

Erik does great work. I've seen his ANS model over at modelbrouwers.nl. Amazing piece of art.

How appropriate!! IRAS was the first ever space-based infrared survey mission. As such it lifted the veil on the infrared universe. But, compared to todays very sophisticated infrared missions (Spitzer, Herschel) it truly was a dinosaur.

But, let's get back on topic.

Working on it this week!

Really glad to hear Erik is working on more Deltas. His Delta models inspired me to create my own kits and were the standard for what I wanted my kits to be.
