Mirrored Panels for Apollo CM 1:12 Scale

That's great, Ken!

Where did you put them - in the Real Space /Manned section, perhaps? I can't find them just now.

All the best,
Bengt in Stockholm

Hi Bengt,

They are still in the unapproved queue... I'm pretty sure I put them in the "manned" section, but I had some trouble, so who knows. Give it a day or 2, and they should be there.

Ken

Hi all,

Just bought mine from ecards. I think that all of the superlatives have been used up for this kit, but I'll add mine anyway, Wow!

Many thanks, for the skill and dedication to the craft, to Ken and Billy.

All the best and happy modelling,

Bernie

I got mine, too.

Even were I to build it as separate models per Billy's (?) suggestion, I still think this is gonna be one of my two "retirement" projects, the other being Alfonso's 1/100 ISS.

Now, when will THAT happen...?

When I see the pics from billy, I see a mistake...
The floor assembly is glued in a wrong angle into the aft compartment...
If you put over the crew compartment and then the outer shell, the openings in the outer shell don't fit over the parts at the aft compartment....
you have to turn the floor assembly, so that the big hatch is exactly over the two red parts of section 1....

To show you, what I mean...

The next is, that, if you print on the inside of "chromalux", the mirrored sheets for the inside of outer shell are wrong, you have to take the original sheets, otherwise the openings don't fit to the outside...

Hi Michael, Could the problem you noticed be due to the thickness of the Chromolux paper? If one mirrors an image it should be just fine normally, I guess. It might be the thickness of the paper that puts the whole thing a little off. Or am I completely off?
