Thanks for being patient.. progress to continue soon.

Ken, I have paged through this thread and I am so impressed with what you have done so far. I thought the one Surfeduke did was good. This one is out of the park. I haven't built any space models for some time but when this one is finished I am back in the space program.

Sorry to hear about your eyes. I went on a nerve pain medicine that had a similar effect. Same exact story about the glasses. After my second pair I finally realized that the dose of Lyrica I was on was messing up my vision. They had me on such a high dose that I landed in the hospital for a week with a mild stroke. When I got off the stuff my eyes returned to normal.

Get well soon, Ken,

One's vision is a very important thing. Take care and don't rush things. We'll wait paitiently in the wings...

All the best from up North,
Bengt

To all the Apollo fans:

First, I want to say how shocked and sorry I was to hear of the passing of Neil Armstrong. It didn't seem that long ago when he inspired us all to do great things by stepping out onto the moon and leaving that famous footprint in the dirt. You have to look long and hard to find his "equal" these days. A true hero for sure. God Bless Neil Armstrong.

Well, my thyroid issues are finally behind me. Permanently on medication for life. I have had new glasses for a little over a month now, and my vision has stabilized (at least so far). For awhile, I was afraid I wouldn't be able to finish the Command Module.

But fear not! the build continues now.... It might take a few days to "get back to where I was", and I don't plan to do 10 hour build marathons. But I do plan to continue a steady progress, and get this project to fruition. Thanks to all of you for understanding, and showing patience.

Stand by..... I think the couches were next on the agenda, if I remember correctly (another age-related condition).

Ken
