Hi Davidoo,

The jumpers that come with the S0 kit are only for display. They don't need to be glued to the S1 or the P1 trusses.
When S0 is glued to both the S1 and P1 trusses, then you need to remove the jumpers from the S0 truss.

Alfonso

Friends/masterbuilders/designers, I've not posted in this thread since may 2010, been watching the builds though and there is some really amazing work being done here, very nice work guys. Should be a couple of weeks till I get back to mine, I need to finish another build first.

Happy new year Alfonso.

I finished the ELC2 platform todat, Its on the wrong side of the truss but I just wanted to see how it looks, Great kit but I am somewhat dissapointed in how I did not cut out the gaps in the truss work, I may try it with the ELC1 and re do it if its survive-able..

A local Observatory has agredd to take the model for display, I should be installing it for them before I leave for Scotland. Ill post pictures of it.

Thanks for looking
John

I believe the reason Alfonso kept the slots uncut was simple stability. I don't think there would be much stability at all at least on the 1:100 and 1:144. But feel free to try and let us know how it turns out!

Happy New Year to the group,

Here's a preview of what is coming next, the Soyuz TMA.
Soon I will release a Soyuz-Progress combo kit. You will have the opportunity to build all Soyuz and Progress configurations showing all variations of insignias.
The photos show an incomplete Soyuz, lacking the antennas and the periscope.
