It's good to see another preview! I've ordered both the launch pad and the MLP, and it's currently in the Netherlands. I, on the other hand, am not.

Lot of pics this post......
Hope to see your build soon!! I just got back from a great weekend at Orlando! Where I visited this Thread's topic!!! LC39A!!!! I did the up close tour, and it was EXTREMELY great being less that half a mile away!!! These pics are taken with no zoom, from a moving Bus, so they're a bit Shaky.

I also got a close-up look at the VAB, AND Space Shuttle Atlantis!!!!!!!! Well, sure it was behind a fence, but it was near 10 feet away, and it was pretty Cool/Sad

And pic of the SLS LUT

Another update, I've got up to Level 5 (almost halfway), and it's coming along nicely.

There is a lot of Detail, MLP Connections, power boxes. More that the LUT, but the Levels are the same principle..

The PCA's are A TON better that the LUT, but not perfect.....The Level Undersides are appreciated

I've got an Idea for the final display, The patch

on a Plaque, STS-134, the crew names.... Hoping to get that solid Bronze Coin at KSC for the Final Dispay.
EDIT-Looks like I've got a Spot to fix.

I probably SHOULD get around to building a properly sized MLP, as I made Alfonso's too short, and its bugging me(flashbacks of LUT).......Good thing I have an STS-107 patch, so maybe another build thread soon, Hopefully.

I hear you, man... thinking on all the great adventures astronauts lived with these fine "flying bricks"... Oh well... we had great 30 years with them.

You lucky guy! Those are great pics!

And your model is coming great!! Amazing!

Thanks!!! They were letting us Tourists in because there was nothing going on in there(though the tour guide said something about something blowing up), and the pad was cool. The space shuttle really was, quite literally, a flying brick(well for the last part of its missions[=P]).
