Toy Story - Pizza Planet Rocket

Alright so this model crosses a few of the categories, but it is a rocket so I'm adding it here.

My wife wants a Toy Story themed party for my son's birthday and I've started working on some of the decorations she wants. I've modelled a version of the Pizza Planet rocket from the top of the delievery truck in Toy Story. This is a big boy right now, and I'll probably release a 1/3 scale of this as well with it.

It's coming together so far. not my most techinical or clean build, but it's only going to be used for probably an hour or so and then turned over to the kids to play with. Maybe we should make it into a Pinata....

Don't mean to poop on your party, Monkeyrum, but I'm curious about the copyright status. Many members of this forum have legitimate concerns regarding copyright protection for their designs, yet those same concerns might seem to prohibit your use of a design from the movie. On the other hand, several models of the Toy Story characters already are available -- and even the models available at The Disney experience come from people outside the Disney organization. Using your model only at the party probably does not involve any hassle for you. But if you plan to release it to other modelers, might it be wise to change the coloring and logos enough to make it your own?

Typically, this is ok so long as the model is not charged for. It is classified as Fan Art, same as all the scifi topics we have here.
