I do appreciate the response gentlemen, I thought there were some that may get a kick out of it . The pain was soo bad when it happened I came real close to passing out several times. Now i'm no wimp when it comes to blood, gore and pain, I was an ASE certified auto tech for several years and cut meat for a prominant food chain here in Fl. I've seen and experianced many painful and gory things, the bad thing here is there's absolutly nothing can be done with it. Nothing to sew up, no bones to set. The only thing to do is deal with it.

Any way..thanks again for the well wishes. I appreciate the jokes too, I did get a good laugh.

Ouch, man! That looks like a nasty little wound you got there. Hope it gets well soon! Keep it clean and without any bandages. That way it heals the quickest. But in the meantime it might hurt like hell, I'm afraid.
I once cut off the tip of my index finger, including a part of my nail. By accident. Didn't see the scissors well enough. Didn't realise the scissors were that sharp. Everything grew back. I'm half lizard,I guess.
PS. thumbs up for the picture! (pun absolutely intended)

That's pretty gruesome! And awesome, in a strange, "hey, look at what I did for my hobby" kind of way. I took a 4 inch decking screw to the finger in the fall. Bro-in-law didn't hold his angle on the drill when toe-nailing a board in place. I had a nice hole in my finger for a while.

Heal up quick and have fun launching them rockets!

Very sharp ones.

(I was cutting off a very large sheet of agricultural plastic we were decorating a hall with for a dance party. I couldn't see where my hand or the scissors were in any way.)

You built a QCC too? Cool, post some pics here, I'd like to see it.

Mine before the first primer coat and the filler.

I bounce back and fourth between the QCC and this, Launch Pad's Nike Ajax:

I have most of the 2012 season's birds built, so I need to switch back to the card models for my exhibit in May.

And sometime, I need to finish some styrene builds... Yeah, I seem to have too much time on my hands. The kids are grown and gone so...

Excellent, great pics, I especially like the two stager.

We all got to have some thing to keep the mind and hands busy, paper modeling helped me keep my sanity during my two year unemployment stint.

Wow, I need to get off my dead butt and get my flyers fixed up for this season... I have some vehicles that took some damage last year that need repair, and I'm contemplating redesigning/rebuilding my reverse-engineered Estes Space Shuttle.

Always something to do...
