QCC Explorer

The largest one yet. Thought there may be a few that might get a kick out of this. Haven't had a chance to launch yet.

Wahey! I'd get a big bouncy castle and attach it to the launch tubing. Then invite all the kids, gators and manatees in the surroundings to a jumping party in the bouncy castle. See how far up you can get it! That indeed looks like it's going fast. And a good looking rocket that is, too.

Just waiting for a good calm sunday when there aren't other pressing matters. Have two more to launch on thier maiden voyages also, plus stomp rocket planes. It's going to be a long fun day.

Launch scrubbed due to injury

Well.. I really did it this time. While constructing a launch pad for the up comming rocket launches I wrecked my thumb. Having the platform complete I was drilling a hole in an adjustable bracket to hold the launch rod, the bracket was clamped in a vise when the drill bit broke, with all my weight on the drill it came down on the base of my thumb, nail broken bit end first, smashing the thumb and breaking the nail across the base and down. So any building will be greatly slowed for a couple of weeks.

We'll see how long this photo will last before the administrater pulls it due to the gore factor.

Closet,

If you didn't really want to launch your baby and risk damaging it, you could have just said so. You didn't have to go to such great lengths to save face! :-)

Seriously, get well soon. I'm glad it wasn't worse.

Holy poop!! That must HURT. I know a guy who heard a rolling sound, and indistictively put his legs together to catch it, and it turned out to be his Hobby Knife. But that is SO much worse!!! Hope you get better
