for some reason my laptop has started working again,, im getting very close to starting my model of columbia herself, very exciting stuff going i=on here, stay tuned for new pics

9.0 caliper is .009"....which is less than .23mm (.2286)

I use primarily 65lb card for most projects where I need the flexibility.
I've never measured less than .23mm (up to .26mm) for 65lb card.
Thats 9 caliper points.

And my Wausau 110lb card measures somewhere between .25mm and .26mm
Thats over 10 caliper points.

And if you are designing with card thicknesses in mind,
you usually have to add even more to that thickness
as a fold and build tolerance.

My point is, there are different manufacturers producing various weights
and thicknesses of paper. Don't assume because they use the same
names and numbers that they are exactly the same weights and measures.

Funny, no matter how big the Shuttle is (was)
it is still dwarfed by that very impressive building!

I remember visiting the site, but without a frame of reference
(ie the Saturn V rocket) it didn't look that big.
It looked big, just not that big.
I wish the Shuttle had been rolling out the door like that!
