Willy Ley Space Tug - 21st Century

Along with the original Willy Ley Space Taxi I am working to upload, I designed an updated Space Tug version for the 21st century. I simplified things slightly and made some other changes.
IMHO I think they complement each other pretty well.

Unlike the Space Taxi, this file is only about 700k, even with the instructions.
I have uploaded the SAPCE TUG, it is in moderation and I suspect will be available in a couple of days.

Hope someone enjoys building it!

I always liked these old designs when I first saw them in a plastic model.

I still have an unbuilt plastic kit of the original space taxi. One of these days I may just build it.

If you mean the original kit in its original box, some of us plastic guys consider that sacrilege because it's so rare! Build one of the repops that are available and keep that precious bit of history in the box....just one opinion.

Major, I'm sorry. It's the Monogram re-issue.

Oh, hell! Build away! Isn't it amazing that the space tug concept should be realized with the space shuttle?

Yes! The shuttle was quite the workhorse as the tug would have been.

Classic.

(this post was WAY too short to count as a real post)
