Spitzer Telescope

Hello, I'm back!

I have build the Spitzer telescope, looking her:

Models - NASA Spitzer Space Telescope

It was a little project for "in-between times".

Very nice, Michael. I like the fine details, such as those struts on the third picture (2nd series). Well done. You can't tell it's an inbetweenie!

This building is not so complicated, I have build it in 12 - 13 hours.
I'm sure, that there any possibilities to improve it with more details, especially with silver- and gold-foil....
The only what I have done, is to laminate or colored the backside of any parts, for example the inside of the little two pipes...

Ausgezeichnet! It will probably take me at least 12-13 days...but I'll probably add foil and other stuff to it.

I didn't know that this particular Spitzer model had these kind of details.
