JPL - it's a nice gimmick....but I don't believe that the little green mars-men can read in Morse... and that they know what it means...

I don't know....mors - mars...there's definitely a connection there.

Really, I laughed so hard when I read this. JPL in morse on Curiosity's wheels! What an awesome joke! My inner geek was doing a loop in a ROFLCopter.

My skycrane is complete....
the light gray parts are from Yogi's download (thank you), the dark gray parts I have made...also all the struts and pipes. Last edited by mk310149; 08-23-2012 at 01:17 PM. |

Wow! That's a great build Michael! I especially like the extra strut work. I can only hope my build ends up looking half as good as that.

Absolutely stunning work, Michael! Looks like this one needs some revision as well (reshape the radar mount, relook the top truss graphics, but the added structure is yours alone - well done).

And, there's an update to the 1:12 scale rover in the Real Space, Unmanned download section. Still some work to do, but it will spell "JPL" when it rolls (assuming you build the wheels to roll ...)
