There are some great tips here on how to roll those tubes quickly and easily.

Found a sampler pack of Aleene's glue(differnt styles) to try out at Hobby Lobby for about US$3.99. Two brown bottles, One clear, and one purple. Small amount, but enought to tryout without wasting a cost of a larger large bottle.

I generally keep two glues on my desk: regular white glue and tacky glue. Sometimes the tacky glue doesn't sink in enough to get a good grip, even under pressure. It stinks when a couple months down the road you find that your glue released, so I use a little of both. Different tasks, different glues.

I may be the only one doing this but I am having very good luck using "clear glue stick"
for the majority of all my gluing and using "clear school glue" for more spot gluing. I have been doing all my models in 2012 this way. Before that I was just using "clear school glue" for all gluing. |

Alene's for most things; control gel superglue for small stuff or parts that need a STRONG bond.
