Leo's Soyuz FG

I have build now Leo's very beautiful Soyuz launcher in scale 1:48...
it's a real big thing....

So to fill the fairing with the soyuz capsula I have also build Alfonsos (AXM) Soyuz scaled to 1:48...

To build a Launchpad I look for the czech Albatros model from 1981...

Papírové modelá?ství CZ • Zobrazit téma - SOJUZ 28 / L.BADALEC / Albatros

I think I get it soon...

That looks great, I built Ton's 1/48 one from The Lower Hudson Valley Paper Model E-Gift Shop - Photo Gallery - Russian and European Spacecraft it's a good model but it's colored in a white frosted look like just before launch. I like the color of your better, where did you get it?.....Rich

Good and clean build, Michael.

My compliments to you.

Makes me wonder why Leo C. never did the Soyuz, like he did the rest...
I've asked him a few times by email, but no response.
But the AXM-version is nice too.

Hi Michael, you did a great job! Nice and clean. It's a big one indeed. How do you fit the Soyuz into the fairing? There are a lot of protrusions on the spacecraft. When I made the 1/96th version some time ago, I adapted the fairing (I made it split it in two halves) to house the Soyuz inside.

@ Willem: You can also try to PM him, because he is a member here. He responded to my PM quite quick, anyway. I guess he doesn't often respond to messages from his site.

I have fit the Soyuz in the fairing with only put in.
All the protrusions I have glued flat on. The Solar wings I have folded and also glued flat...everything goes well ...
