Ton Noteboom's 4 ft. Saturn V (first build)

I've been working on this for the past few days. This is essentially my first paper model. It's a little rough but I'm quite pleased with how it turned out. I had allot of fun putting it together and the hours of entertainment only cost me a few cents worth of black toner (I don't have a color printer :p) a few sheets of paper, cardstock and glue. I built the first stage first and every section I built afterwards turned out a little bit neater than the last as I got better at putting the pieces together. All in all, an interesting introduction to the hobby and a good learning experience. Ok here are the photos:

Welcome aboard, and nice job!

Certainly not the easiest model to begin with. I admire your ambition.

I hope you enjoy yourself around here and continue modeling.

Well done! As said, Ton's may not the easiest models to make but the fit and precision are superb - making them great teachers. And, a great display when you're done.

That's quite a model to tackle for a first effort, and you did a fine job....

Thank you all for the compliments and words of encouragement. Now for the most difficult part of the hobby, deciding what to build next!

Welcome to PM DOT COM. You did a great job there, this was one of my first models i built a long while ago and enjoyed every minute of it - i still have it Yeah... the choice is sooooo vast it's hard to choose, but if you have a bug for space items, there's plenty of great models - The Space shuttle is always a great build, and our YOGI developed some payloads for the variants... great guy, great models. Tis FUN
