Thanks Becky, I also think that the effort was worth it.
I think it's important that the stuff should trickle down nicely to scatter itself evenly, like the rice flour doing, unlike wheat flour. And that's why I'm more than satisfied with the last result.

Thank you Marcell for your flattery,
I'm just a fiddler and make an effort as well as possible.

I wouldn't say that if it wasn't true. When the model is finished you could sell tickets to all of them who want to see it. Even at this still unfinished stage I suggest to build a suitable box for it to protect it from dust and damage. Something like Loenf's diorama boxes, for example: https://sites.google.com/site/loenforama/star-trek |

Thanks Marcell for your nice proposal,
maybe I should think about an annual Open house ... BTW, do not worry, the semifinished assemblies are all in a cabinet, behind closed doors.

A "fiddler" he calls himself. We all should fiddle as well as you!

There are "fiddlers" and there are the Jascha Heifetzes. Manfred is definitely among the latter.....

A fiddler or a mad scientist, take your pick. Either way this is an education for all of us. The man produces pure eye candy.

Thanks Becky, David and Ed for your nice words,
Maybe you like tinker better than fiddler? I also cannot and do not want to deny the scientist, he keeps coming through again and again, I have to get to the bottom of things and want to understand the technical context too.

Hello everybody,
for masking before Flour coating, I need a stable and secure solution, either with masking paint or tape, especially since I have the cover problem as with the Ramps even with the other ET add-on parts, such as with the ET/Orbiter Interface Attachment, this is the rear support structure of the orbiter with the different vertical and diagonal struts, as well as the LH2/LO2 PAL Ramps, etc. The Airfix solution of this Interface attachment, on the other hand, looks a bit more modest and therefore is not quite realistic, so there some scratch building is needed.
